THE kENTUCKY PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION HAS JUST RELEASED A REPORT ON ENERGY RATES FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS.

DUE TO THE EPA REGULATIONS EVERY POWER PLANT HAS TO UPGRADE AND MEET NEW REGULATIONS.

THIS INCREASE IS PROJECTED TO BE 50% IN 5 YEARS.

AS POWER PLANTS PURCHASE THE NEEDED EQUIPMENT TO MEET NEW STANDARDS THERE MAY BE A SHORTAGE OF THIS EQUIPMENT AND RATES COULD SKY ROCKET DUE TO COMPETITION FOR THE AVAILABLE EQUIPMENT.
